Your data is encrypted when it is sent and when it is stored.

Industry-standard cryptographic protocols protect information across upload, storage, and processing for the life of the data in our system.

An extra step at login keeps accounts safer even if a password is compromised.

Accounts support two-factor authentication so only authorized users reach case information and client data.

Matter data stays only as long as you need it. Ask us to delete it and we will.

User-uploaded matter data is retained for the active account term. Upon termination or written request of the authorized account holder, LawLM deletes that data in accordance with the Terms of Service. AWS storage deletion follows AWS data destruction protocols consistent with NIST 800-88 standards.

You only see matters provisioned to your account. Cross-matter peeking is not how the system works.

The platform enforces case-level data segregation. Users may only access matter data expressly provisioned to their account. Cross-matter access is architecturally prevented through access controls that keep case information isolated.

We maintain cyber liability and privacy insurance for additional protection.

LawLM carries a Cyber Liability and Privacy policy through Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance. Certificates of insurance are available to firms upon written request. A whitepaper on coverage types in the context of the system’s architecture is available upon request.
